TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Pre-Paid Lesson: All lessons must be paid by credit/debit card or check prior to the start of your lesson. Contact the office (info@homesafedrivingschool.com) to make arrangements for cash payments.

2. Individual Lessons: All lessons are individual/private lessons with one student at a time in the car. A parent or guardian is always welcomed to ride-along.

3. Start Time/15-minute Grace Period: We will always do our best to call ahead if there is something unforeseen preventing us from arriving on time, but please allow for a 15 minute grace period in case we are unable to pull over and reach out to you safely and legally. We understand your time is valuable.

4. Permit: Student must have their permit with them for the lesson. If student fails to have permit at the time of pick-up we will not conduct the lesson and you will not receive a refund. It is illegal to drive without the permit in hand.

5. 90-minute Driving Lesson:
- Student will get full scheduled appointment time in the car even if the lesson begins late. During the lesson, the instructor may stop for fuel with the student in the company car. This will be part of the lesson and we will teach the students how to properly fuel the vehicle.
- Ending a lesson early: If the student requests the lesson to end earlier than the contracted 90-minutes, no refund will be issued. If HomeSafe ends the lesson early we will either prorate the fee paid or provide an additional lesson for the amount of time remaining.

6. Cancellation Policy
- Student Cancellation:
> You may cancel or reschedule your appointment online up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment at no charge.
> If you need to cancel or reschedule for any reason within 48 hours of the lesson, you must contact our office by phone or email. We will do our best to fill the time with another student/lesson. However, if we cannot fill the canceled time slot with another lesson/student you will be charged the following amounts as our instructors will still be paid for their time. Thank you for understanding and working with us.
- Within 24 hours: no refund
- Within 48 hours: 50% refund
- Beyond 48 hours: Full refund
- If HomeSafe Driving School cancels the appointment for any reason within 48 hours and we are not able to reschedule it in a satisfactory timeframe we will provide a full refund of the lesson.

7. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

8. Confirmation: All driving appointments made are confirmed via email and reminders sent via text (if the phone number provided is a mobile phone). This is so both parties can reference scheduled lessons. Driving lessons are first come, first served. If you would like an earlier lesson than your already scheduled time, please send an email to info@homesafedrivingschool.com to request to be placed on a cancellation list.
